ONE QUESTION

Do people know you for what you do or for who you are?

ONE THING TO PONDER

Convenience and greatness cannot co-exist. - Mylett

ONE PERSPECTIVE

Being inauthentic quietly kills our dreams over time.

We tend to recognize when we’re holding back being the real version of ourselves.

We know when we’re choosing not to do something because of what others may think.

We know it. We can’t un-know it. So we have a choice. Do something about it or suppress it and live with regret.

When you hide, you're not just betraying yourself – you're robbing the world of what you were put here to create.

Your authenticity isn't just a personal choice. It's a gift to the world.

One of the main reasons we aren’t authentic? We tend to judge others harshly.

We judge others because we're terrified of being judged ourselves.

It's a vicious cycle – the more we judge, the more we hide, the smaller we become.

The first step to being your true self? Stop judging everyone else.

Let them be them, and let you be you. Your judgment of them won’t change them, it will only poison you.

The monster under our beds as adults is Judgement from others.

Oftentimes we believe that judging others subconsciously protects us while in truth, it’s a cage.

I’m convinced that one of the biggest regrets I’ll have if I don’t follow my own path is that I will have lived a life based on others' judgements or expectations.

Here is your permission slip to go tackle big goals authentically:

  • You are not here to meet expectations

  • Your Legacy won’t look like anyone else’s.

  • The world is waiting for YOUR story.

You can love people deeply and still choose your truth. Their reaction to your authenticity is their journey, not yours.

Shine on you crazy diamond!

Onward and Upward!

BOOK RECOMMENDATION

Falling Upward
by Richard Rohr

This book is all about navigating life, the ups and downs and keeping a perspective that allows you to find contentment along the way. It’s important to understand that growth happens through imperfections. It’s unfortunate that many times, unconsciously we would rather be ruined than change. Worth the read if you’re ready to be challenged.
